Georgina Martin | Specialist Paediatric Allergy Dietitian
BSc (Hons), MSc Allergy, RD
About Me
I am an HCPC registered dietitian, and the lead dietitian for Allergy at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge. I bring 15 years of NHS clinical paediatric experience to the clinic. Whether you are dealing with a recent allergy diagnosis, managing multiple food exclusions, or looking for support with weaning onto allergens, my goal is to keep your child safe while broadening their experience with food—and having fun along the way! I translate the most up-to-date scientific evidence around allergy prevention, management, and feeding issues into highly practical, stress-free plans tailored entirely to your family’s routine.

I have a broad background in paediatric nutrition, including neonatology, gastroenterology and for the last 8 years, clinical allergy. I am a member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA) and of the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
My practice is flexible. I can offer one off consultations, or we can work together for as long as you need to feel confident in managing your child’s food allergies.
How I can help your family:
- Weaning onto solids alongside eczema or food allergy concerns.
- Managing all types of food allergies—from immediate (IgE-mediated) to delayed (non-IgE-mediated) allergies, including FPIES.
- Diagnosis and management of delayed (non-IgE) mediated food allergies
- Using ‘ladders’ to safely reintroduce foods.
- Nutrition & growth assessments to ensure restricted diets stay balanced.
- Paediatric feeding difficulties

Testimonial
‘We got in touch with Georgina when our five month old was given a preliminary diagnosis of Cow’s Milk Protein Allergy by the GP. We had no idea how to manage what came next in terms of feeding alternatives, what items we should remove from his diet as he started solids or how long we might have to wait to speak to a specialist. We are so grateful we spoke to Georgina, who could explain what the next steps look like and answer all our questions.’
